First Coast News: Corrections officer resigns amid Fla inmate escape

Reggie Garcia is an attorney who's worked with inmates in Sumter County before. He said usually people with Adams' history don't get work camp privileges.

"We've all driven by and seen work crews," he said. "Apparently his story was, 'Can I go into the woods to use the restroom?"
